生命の宿る巣"HOUSE"シリーズの１作品。 宮澤賢治の「銀河鉄道の夜」をテーマとして賢治が見た宇宙を想像して描いた作品。 耕す土の中に、微生物や植物の根、石などが混じる。一握りの土の中にミクロな生命が宿っている。 地中に想いをめぐらし賢治は大地に共鳴する存在として宇宙を想起したのではないだろうか。 土の中を描くことで銀河を表現した作品。 This is one of the "HOUSE" series, a nest where life resides. This work is based on the theme of Kenji Miyazawa's "Night on the Galactic Railroad," imagining the universe as Kenji saw it. Microorganisms, plant roots, and stones are mixed in the soil that is tilled. Microscopic life resides in a handful of soil. Kenji may have thought of the universe as an entity that resonates with the earth as he contemplated the earth. This work expresses the galaxy by depicting the inside of the soil.
